GENERAL INFORMATION

LZ-2CF  is  an  organic  derivative  of  a  bentonite  clay.  This  rheological  additive  is  designed  for intermediate polarity organic system, such as toluene and xylene.

APPLICATIONS

LZ-2CF organic bentonite used as thickener, anti-settling agent and rheological agent widely employ in the field of alkyd resin painting, PE and PU primer for furniture.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

LZ-2CF  additive  is  a  readily  dispersible  organo-clay  for  non-polar  to  medium-polarity  organic applications. The additive is added directly to the resin/solvent blend and is thoroughly mixed in room temperature. The pigments and fillers are then added and dispersed with high share for a few minutes.

LEVELS OF USE

The level depends on the system in which is to be used. The typical levels are between 0.5 and 2.0% organic bentonite based on total system weight.
