Application of Trichloroethylene

1. Trichloroethylene is mainly used as metal degreasing and dry cleaning agent for wool and fabrics.
2. Trichloroethylene is used as a solvent for oil removal on metal surfaces, dry cleaning of clothes, extraction of plant and mineral oils, preparation of drugs, organic synthesis and dissolution of oils, rubber, resins and alkaloids.
3. Trichloroethylene is an excellent solvent and a good substitute for benzene and gasoline.
4. Trichloroethylene is used in degreasing, freezing, pesticides, spices, rubber industry, washing fabrics, etc.
